The Pros:Hold edges well when going at high speeds. Floats over powder effortlessly. Light feel underfoot, doesn't feel like its dragging you down.
The Cons:Lose some maneuverability at lower speeds due to twin-tip design. Some adhesive on the bottom when shipped, need waxing. Scratches accumulate quickly even with normal use.
The Volkl Ledge is a ski that’s a good choice for the intermediate/advanced skier who’s able to ride well switch or forward. It’s symmetrical shape is perfect for pike and park spins and jibs but is equally at home in the varied terrain on the rest of the mountain.

The butter zone utilizes poplar in the forward part of the ski and a denser wood around the binding for a ride with loads of pop and durability.
