Volkl Kuro
$899.00
Released September, 2009
The Pros:Do well on piste, makes nice GS turns. Handle powder easily, glide right over it. Keeps you in 100% control all the time, very nice response.
The Cons:Need to break them in over a few days to get the best potential. Not flexible to handle park and pipe. Looses a lot of control in wind-blown or crusty conditions.
The Volkl Kuro is the widest ski in their line-up with a shape of 164-132-139 and will let advanced riders slice through the deep stuff with ease. With the help of Völkl's exclusive Extended Low Profile (ELP) rocker technology, the Kuro will also allow handling in groomed snow with relative confidence.
