It uses a twin-titanium-laminate sandwich sidewall on a full wood with bamboo core, creating a smooth and stiff ride. This is ideal for advanced and expert skiers, but may be difficult to control for beginners. This works with the flat tail to penetrate snow on landing, cushioning longer drops in the powder. The width is selected to float over the surface in most conditions, with enough balance to work through hardpack. The sidewalls work with the 300mm tip rocker to create more responsive edging control without sacrificing maneuverability.
