The vertical sidewalls help with grip. The rectangular shape of the Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Composite offers improved flex distribution over previous models. This ski has the same specs as the closely related Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Tech. However, this ski has a composite IBOX plate mounted on it (for binding mounting), which the Tech lacks. In exchange, the Tech has a snub nose (which improves the ski to snow feel, as well as swing weight), which the Composite lacks. These two models also have different sidecuts (the Composite has an 109/66/90 sidecut while the Tech has an SIP sidecut) and radiuses (the Composite has a 19 meter radius while the Tech has a radius of 23 meters). The Rossignol Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Composite is approved by the International Ski Federation (FIS).
