The full twin design of the Hot Rod Fuel consists of a curved tip and tail, a design that also helps you to reach high speeds, as well as ski backwards with control. The 80mm waist of this ski is an ideal size for high speed carving. This ski differs from the identically priced Hot Rod 74 ski in that the Hot Rod Fuel ski features slightly larger sizes, and has a Full Twin V Active construction (featuring the i-Core) instead of the Hot Rod 74's Energy Frame construction (which features partial sidewalls and a double wood core), meaning that its focus is on speed rather than handling. Both of these models differ from the higher cost Igniter Ca model in that the Igniter Ca model has a Full Twin V Active construction with partial sidewalls, so that it is a combination of the Hot Rod 74 and Hot Rod Fuel models.
