Elan's own "Rocker" technology has been implemented to provide skiiers with given amount of lift dependent on weight, and also provides superior flotation on powdered hills for smooth maneuverability. SST sidewalls offer a customized slant under 70 degrees or wider skis such as the Boomerang, engineered to maintain consistent edge grip for minimized skidding. In addition, a laminated woodcore optimizes flex and durability, while fiberglass layers on either side prevent the skis from warping or snapping on hard landings.
